Friend of the show Tom Kim joins the podcast to discuss how he’s been gambling on Royal Caribbean to get “free” cruises. Spoiler alert they’re not actually free but they’re also not as expensive as you might think (statistically). We also discuss his overall impressions of Royal Caribbean and what upcharges and packages are worth the cost. Apparently cruising is like mileage running?
This episode was recorded in late August so we didn’t discuss on the podcast, but our thoughts are with all of those in the Bahamas and the Southeast affected by Hurricane Dorian. Stay safe and we’re hoping for the best as recovery begins.
In our Patreon only Final Boarding Call segment, Tom chats about reselling, his love of mistake fares, and award space to Asia both generally and for next summer.
