I’m going to step in and say (after having listened to the first 7 minutes) that it is not just “East Coast Losers” or even Hawaii newbies who go to Honolulu. I am one of those novices, but a good friend of mine actually lived in Hawaii and she definitely loves Oahu. There’s fantastic food there.
